Member Engagement Committee
The Member Engagement Committee supports the growth, diversity, and engagement of FPDA’s membership. Key responsibilities include:
- Recruitment: Develop strategies to attract new members, including identifying target audiences, shaping marketing campaigns, and recommending potential members who align with the organization's mission and values.
- Retention: Encourage current members to participate in and benefit from the association’s programming and educational offerings, boosting overall engagement.
- Onboarding: Welcome new members and help them integrate into the organization.
- Member Benefits: Identify, enhance, and communicate the benefits of membership to ensure members gain value.
- Feedback: Gather and analyze member feedback (via surveys, calls, and other outreach) to improve programs and services.
- Recognition: Acknowledge and celebrate member contributions, achievements, and milestones.
Marketing & Value Proposition Committee
The Marketing & Value Proposition Committee is responsible for promoting the organization’s mission, programs, and member benefits to current and prospective members. The committee enhances FPDA’s visibility, drives participation, and supports growth through strategic communication and promotion. Responsibilities include:
- Developing Marketing Strategies: Create and implement plans to raise awareness of the association’s initiatives and highlight its value.
- Promoting Events and Programs: Publicize conferences, educational opportunities, and the value of membership through diverse channels.
- Communications: Provide content for newsletters, social media, website updates, and press releases.
- Brand Management: Ensure consistent messaging and uphold the association’s brand image.
- Member Engagement: Encourage participation in events and initiatives through targeted marketing efforts.
- Supporting Recruitment and Retention: Assist in attracting new members and retaining existing ones by highlighting benefits and organizational achievements.
- Evaluating Effectiveness: Monitor and assess marketing initiatives to improve future campaigns.
Education Committee
The Education Committee develops and oversees the association’s educational content, with a focus on relevance, quality, and member value. Key responsibilities include:
- Program Development:
- Identify and plan educational offerings such as webinars, workshops, and seminars.
- Ensure educational offerings align with industry trends, member needs, and strategic goals.
- Content Oversight:
- Recommend relevant topics and themes.
- Vet and select speakers, instructors, or facilitators.
- Needs Assessment:
- Gather feedback from members to identify learning gaps and interests.
- Conduct surveys or focus groups to shape educational offerings.
- Evaluation and Improvement:
- Review the success of educational programs (e.g., attendance, satisfaction, learning outcomes).
- Suggest improvements for future offerings.
- Outreach and Engagement:
- Promote educational programs to members.
- Encourage member participation and involvement in learning activities.
Additionally, the Education Committee helps to create the success of the Future Leaders in Motion (FLM) program by:
- Application Review: Collaborate with the FLM liaison and FPDA staff to review and evaluate program applications.
- Curriculum and Program Design: Help shape the structure and curriculum for each FLM class to ensure it is relevant, engaging, and aligned with leadership development goals.
- Graduate Engagement: Develop opportunities to keep FLM graduates actively involved in the program and connected to the broader association.
